We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Room Steward / Housekeeper
Location: Osogbo, Osun
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
Job Description
- Cleans the guest rooms and all public spaces in line with the schedule by the Rooms Supervisor
- Informs Rooms Supervisor about accurate room status
- Maintain furnishing, facilities and equipment in the cleanest possible condition, and ensures that repair and maintenance is executed when needed
- Brings all needs for repair to the attention of the Room Supervisor
- Requests for cleaning materials and necessary approvals for cost effective chemicals and other operating supplies as required
- Makes requisition orders for housekeeping equipment and supplies
- Handles the daily inventory keeping and disbursement for all linen, uniforms, cleaning supplies, guest rooms and rest rooms supplies, laundry supplies, and housekeeping related machinery and equipment.
- Handles “Lost and Found” on a daily basis
- Checks “in house” or “stay over” rooms
- Fills out maintenance orders as needed
- Checks linen closets and carts for cleanliness and supplies
- Checks, equips and stocks VIP rooms according to instruction
- Knows all housekeeping procedures.
Requirements
- SSCE / GCE / NECO
- Working experience within the hospitality sector will be an added advantage.
Job Title: Driver
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job Description
- Obey all traffic and driving regulations like speed limit etc at all times.
- Keep the vehicle spotless in both exterior and interior appearance.
- In charge of the maintenance of his vehicles service dues, cleaning, up keeping and running condition. Also keep the assigned car or vehicle clean and ensuring that it is mechanically sound.
- He / she is responsible to report to the superiors regarding all incidents.
- Assist with hotels administrative departments with transportation requirements like sales calls etc.
- Always maintain positive customer relations at all times.
- Have a good knowledge of the hotel's facilities and services.
- Able to keep a record of all the incidents while driving, for example, any accidents or tickets.
- Able to comply with all the traffic/ road rules and regulation of the state while also following the policies of the hotel authorities.
- Perform any trips and drives with the hotel car/bus as requested.
- Maintain high grooming and personal hygiene standards.
- Always wear a proper uniform with name tag nicely polished (if required).
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of SSCE, OND and 4 - 10 years work experience with a valid driving license and knowledge of Lagos road.
- Must have perfect knowledge of Lagos roads which is an addedd advantage.
- Interested Applicants that reside in Lagos and knowledge about Osun road will be an added advantage.
Job Title: Cook
Location: Osogbo, Osun
Reports to: Executive Chef
Position Summary
- The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures.
- Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
- Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift.
- Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system
- Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
- Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
- Handling multiple food orders at one time
- Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive
- Dressing order for presentation
- Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides
- Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner
- Storing all food properly
- Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
- Reordering stock and food supplies
- Monitoring other cooks and team members
- Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed.
Requirements
- SSCE / GCE / NECO
- Working experience within the hospitality sector will be an added advantage.
