Musical Copyright Society Nigeria (MCSN) is a Nigerian not-for-profit Collective Management Organization representing the rights of our Musical Works and Sound Recordings members
locally and internationally. They receive royalties for usage of their works across the world, not just in Nigeria.

Job Title: Membership Relations Officer

Description

  • Are you passionate about building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service? The Musical Copyright Society Nigeria (MCSN) is seeking a dynamic Membership Relations Officer to engage with members, ensure their needs are met, and strengthen our community of rights holders in Oyo.

Responsibilities

  • Member Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for MCSN members, addressing inquiries and providing timely support.
  • Membership Management: Assist in onboarding new members, updating membership records, and maintaining accurate databases.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of member-related events, such as workshops, meetings, and outreach programs.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle member concerns or disputes professionally, ensuring a satisfactory resolution in line with organizational policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on membership activities, growth, and retention metrics.
  • Communication: Disseminate updates, announcements, and relevant information to members through emails, newsletters, and other channels.
  • Feedback Collection: Conduct surveys and gather feedback to understand members’ needs and improve services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Experience in the creative or music industry is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in customer service, relationship management, or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
