Job Title: Senior Medical Officer
Location: Lagos
The Role
- A hands on professional who sees herself as counselor and friend to the patients.
- She will provide primary contact and continuous care toward the
management of patients’ health and will be expected to assess and treat a
wide range of conditions, ailments and injuries.
- She will report directly to the Medical Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose illnesses, prescribe and administer treatment for
people suffering from a wide spectrum of diseases and minor injuries
(including referring to specialists as required).
- Obtain medical histories, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Provide competent patient-centered care that addresses health needs and promotes wellness.
- Provide health education as required to promote wellness and adequate chronic disease management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidate must possess MBBS with at least 5 years post NYSC experience covering different specialties.
- Post graduate degree in Family Medicine, Public Health, or any relevant additional degree would be an advantage
- Candidate must possess current practicing license.

- Should have good clinical acumen (excellent history taking,
physical examination, requesting appropriate investigations to arrive at
accurate diagnoses)
- Commitment to safety and quality of care and ability to thrive

- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good team player with proven organizational and administrative skills
- Female Between 35 - 40 years
- Should be pleasant, patient and honest
- proficiency in procedures like suturing, IV catheterization,
urethral catheterization, ear syringing, cervical cytology, IUCD
insertion and removal.
- Should have good documentation abilities to prepare high quality summaries and reports
- Conversant with technology (previous experience in use of electronic medical record system would be an asset)
Job Title: Nurse
Location: Lagos
The Role
- The selected candidate will be responsible for the delivery of
basic nursing care to patients. Supported by a senior nurse within the
practice, she will deliver care within the boundaries of her role,
focusing upon supporting patients to be healthy, disease prevention and
screening activities.
- She will work collaboratively with the rest of the practice team to meet the needs of patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the rest of the medical team to assess, plan, develop,
implement and evaluate programmes to promote health and well-being of
patients.
- Assist physicians in the delivery of high quality patient care.
- Support patients to adopt health promotion strategies that
promote patients to live healthy and encourage principles of self-care.
- Implement and participate in vaccination and immunization programmes for both adults and children.
- Promote and deliver evidence-based care for patients
- Work effectively with the team to clearly define values, direction and policies impacting upon care delivery
- Participate in team activities that create opportunities to improve patient care
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Additional degree in Public Health, Mid-wifery is essential.
- Minimum of four years post qualification experience.
