China Glass Holdings Limited ("CNG") was incorporated in 2004 and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005 (stock code: 03300. HK, stock short name: China Glass). The company's major shareholders include China National Building Materials Group and Legend Holdings. Headquartered in Beijing, CNG currently has nine production bases and a research and development center with nearly 4,000 employees. There are overseas float glass production bases in Nigeria and Kazakhstan; and a company providing neutral pharmaceutical glass engineering equipment and technical services in Italy. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Ogun

Job Description

To ensure that all the mechanical systems and equipment in our facilities operates efficiently and optimally.
Perform post-maintenance functional tests and checks to verify that the maintenance action was successful before handing it over to production team and sign off.
Responsible for documenting maintenance operations (e.g. keeping a log of maintenance activities, gathering data and preparing reports on repairs carried out, frequent breakdowns and routine checks) and report to a Supervisor/Technical Manager.
Carry out preventive maintenance program/checks at regular intervals and act preventively to avoid situations from arising that may compromise the proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
Ensure that maintenance is performed according to a schedule, in conjunction with the maintenance planner to sustain or improve equipment overall efficiency.

Qualifications

O’ Level WAEC / NECO / NABTEB / Trade Test.
OND Certificate in Science will be an added advantage.
Experience: 2 years cognate experience.
The Person Must
Pipefitting and Pipe skills
Welding and TIG Welding skills
Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus
Have effective communication and collaboration skills.
Good knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Great organizational and time management abilities.
Have good mechanical aptitude.
Steam fitting experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Attention to detail and accuracy
Physical strength and stamina
