Lington & Bernie Consulting Limited was established on October 8, 1999 to provide efficient and qualitative consulting services to the oil and gas industry, banks and financial institutions, power sector, as well as other corporate organizations in the areas of human resources placement and management, human resources consulting services, tax administration and payroll services as well as oil and gas fiscal and contractual terms advisory services. We are recruiting to fill the position below:       Job Title: Procurement Engineer Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities

  • Take active part in the preparation of relevant documents for the purpose of bidding for jobs
  • Ensure that all the delivery dates are met by Vendors/sub-contractors; monitor suppliers’ performances, as well as provides information/updates for the project schedule
  • Follow up all procurement activities including expediting and inspection in accordance with the project and Company’s procedures
  • Represent the company on procurement matters with relevant companies
  • Follow up aggressively on proposals and bids submitted with current and prospective clients
  • Effective marketing of the company’s products and services
  • Responsible for the implementation, control, and updating of the project procurement plan on a weekly basis
  • Track and expedite company materials to ensure timely delivery
  • Constantly generate innovative ideas to help the Company improve on its service delivery
Key Performance Indicators (K.P.I)
  • Timely submission of bids and proposal
  • Meeting and exceeding set targets
  • Increase visibility of the company in all relevant organizations
  • Upward trend in our sales volume
  • Regular RFQ, LPO/Job Orders from clients and prospects
  • Timely submission of performance and activity reports
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • First degree or equivalent in Engineering disciplines
  • Strong computer & internet skills
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
      Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation of commercial marketing strategy for sales of the company’s services
  • Constantly generate innovative ideas that will help the company to improve on its service delivery to present clients
  • Identify new market opportunities and implement market growth plans
Qualification
  • Graduate of any Management or Social science discipline
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Possession of relevant professional qualification will be a definite advantage
Competencies & Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years cognate work experience in a performance/target driven work environment.
  • Ability to develop business proposal, make presentation, negotiate effectively and close business deal
  • Ability to demonstrate high level conceptual/entrepreneurial skills
  • Must be highly literate in computer and other I.T infrastructure.
