Job Title: Brand and Innovation Manager - Northern Nigerian Flour Mills

Location: Kano

Description

  • Responsible for driving NNFM brand penetration and acceptability in the market. Ensuring NNFM becomes the hub of local content supply, drive local content agenda within the innovation & R&D team.

The Job

  • Lead the brand management of NNFM portfolio and identify opportunities for growth through evaluation of market intelligence.
  • Develop and monitor plans on assigned category brands. Effectively utilizing resources and appropriate channels to achieve set objectives.
  • Initiate and implement brand representation at special events in Northern regions. Lead marketing promotional activities of brand categories for visibility and monitor performance.
  • Optimize production processes to ensure least cost production for product competition and profitability.
  • Collaborate with sales team to resolve challenges faced by customers and consumers in the market.
  • Support the development of NNFM as a local hub for local content in alignment with FMN's innovation agenda.
  • Work with R&D & Innovation on local content in sourcing, quality evaluation & achieving cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • First degree in any field
  • Relevant marketing membership.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in branding/ marketing/ innovation related roles.
  • Adept at working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Market intelligence gathering, analytics and reporting.

The Person Must:

  • Possess good interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Have excellent communication and fluent in HAUSA. .
  • Be numeric and possess good problem-solving skills
  • Possess the passion for innovation and creativity.

Job Title: Head of Sales - Agri Input

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Organize the sales force and the sales activities to ensure continuous improvement in sales performance and volumes.
  • Allocate sales volumes and other objectives to the Area sales manager and the national Sales Manager in line with the overall sales target and objective within given timeframe.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales volumes report across different regions to ensure effective distribution and a balanced portfolio of products across all regions and markets.
  • Review sales report and provide adequate information to guide production planning and management decision process.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to gather market intelligence report tracking products quality, customers demand and resolve customers ‘challenges.
  • Develop effective distribution channels of agricultural input. Deploy agronomists and extension services as a sales tool.
  • Efficiently manage remote workers using technology and with same gather farmer data for effective B2C sales coverage.
  • Coach and train the sales team for skills enhancement and capability building.

Qualification

  • First Degree in Agriculture/Crop Production or any related course.
  • MBA from any reputable institution will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years cognate experience.

The Person Must:

  • Have knowledge of Extension services.
  • Have preferably hands-on experience in the sales department of an established manufacturing or Agric input company covering sales, merchandising and customer service management.
  • Be able to plan, assign, direct and review the work of direct reports and provide instruction in a manner to improve performance and high morale.
  • Be team oriented, adaptable and  dependable.
