Job Title: Regional Expansion Officer - North Africa

Location: Can be based in Lagos, Nigeria or any North African Countries
Job Type: Contract

About the Regional Expansion Officer (North Africa)

  • As our Regional Expansion Officer (North Africa), your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the Country Managers to develop the expansion strategy and ensure all Expansion activities (i.e. Incorporation, Licensing, Tax & Finance, Partnerships, etc.) are concluded in the designated market in line with best practices and regulatory standards

What Your Day to Day Activities Will Be Like

  • Work with Country Managers to develop expansion strategies in setting up local entity and all required documentation
  • Oversee and secure all necessary regulatory licenses, permits, and approvals required for the designated entities;
  • Ensure the appropriate transition of all specialised items such as licensing renewals, subsequent tax filings, etc are transitioned to the appropriate central teams to ensure continuity.
  • Identify and locate potential partnerships in the selected markets to hand off to the project optimisation team.
  • Collaborate with the Project Optimisation team to launch and develop business/partnerships per agreed terms and conditions
  • Ensure effective management of relationships with key partners, customers, and accounts.
  • Identify effective partnership and create in-roads to the development of the required relationships for the business
  • Ensuring to keep up with weekly periodic reports and communicate with Management
  • Any other duties that may be assigned

Required competency and skillset to be a waver

  • 1-2 Years of working experience
  • In-depth knowledge and technical understanding of the organisation's strategy & business, product, and service offerings
  • Very good knowledge of local and global industry dynamics including regulation, legislation, and operating environment.
  • Very good understanding of micro and macroeconomic indices and their impact on business.
  • Ability to think strategically and holistically and to appreciate the systematic impact of various policies, issues and solutions.
  • Excellent networking and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication at all levels (verbal and written)
  • Excellent problem solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills

Other Requirements:

Job Title: Financial Officer - Settlement Accountant

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

About the Financial Officer - Settlement Accountant Role

  • We are looking for driven, passionate and committed individuals to join the team as we grow and expand across Africa and beyond.
  • As our Financial Officer - Settlement Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to do daily analysis and reconciliation of all settlement bank accounts to ascertain key financial information for the purpose of monthly management accounts preparation also Interacting with the Settlement Operations Team to ensure timely retrieval of all financial data required by the Finance Department.

What Your Day to Day Activities Will Be Like

  • Reconcile settlement bank statements daily
  • Participate in monthly financial close by reconciling settlement related general ledger accounts
  • Liaise with the Settlement Operations Team to obtain all required data and information
  • Keep proper records of all cost of service, such as providers cost, bank charges, etc.
  • Escalate variances and gaps noticed in data and information obtained from the Settlement Operations Team
  • Carry out any other assigned task for the purpose of preparing monthly management accounts

Job Title: Project & Partnership Optimization Officer - Francophone Africa

Location: Can be based in Lagos or any Francophone African Countries
Job Type: Contract

About the Project & Partnership Optimization Officer - Francophone Africa

  • As our Project & Partnership Optimization Officer (Francophone Africa), your primary responsibility will be to activate and manage projects to enable new payment types on Flutterwave Infrastructure.

You Will Also;

  • Analyze data to determine optimal transaction routing strategy across service lines, including implementing add-on services that can improve the product, customer experience, or revenue;
  • Act as the frontline for all partner issues and subsequent resolution, and;
  • Build and maintain relationships with all relevant Flutterwave partners.

What Your Day to Day Activities Will Be Like

  • Develop full-scale project plans and collaborate with Stakeholders (I.e Engineering Team, Treasury team, Product Team) to track performance and progress as well as associated communication documents using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Apply   appropriate   verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Develop effective strategies to remedy variances from project plans, and minimize impacts
  • Manage transitions between project stages and ensure that changes are consistent with organizational goals
  • Determine criteria and use data to evaluate partner service delivery in order to determine optimal transaction routing strategy
  • Build and Manage relationships with partners beyond project implementations
  • Ensure frequent meetings with partners to support integrations
  • Periodic monitoring and reporting of partner’s transactional activities
  • Any other duties assigned

  • Good understanding of business expansion
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in a project management role
  • Ability to effectively use project management tools in analyzing, translating, and presenting data and information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment; can adapt quickly to change; have strong negotiations skills
  • Excellent leadership/supervisory and people management skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills
