  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
  • Sourcing for finance for the company from banks.
  • Documentation of all organizational income and expenditure and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.
  • Preparing cash flow statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, financial projections and all other book keeping scenarios.
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
  • Carrying out negotiations with the various financial institutions.
  • Maintaining fixed assets register.
  • Managing accounts accruable and payable.
  • Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, invoices, staff monthly payroll and overtime payments.
  • Stock reconciliation.
  • Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies and the assumptions underlying budget forecast.
  • Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
  • Any other function assigned.
Requirements
  • We are looking at Polytechnic or University graduates in Accounting/Accountancy, Business Admin, Distribution or Supply or any other related courses with required experience.
  • Minimum of 3years experience in any of the positions.
