Job Title: Laboratory Technician - Oilfield Service

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Applying of scientific research and development in a lab environment
  • Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
  • Resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
  • Working together with people from the business unit. Specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues. Communicating with direct team and supervisor. Presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
  • Carrying out operational duties as required

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited University  
  • Have experience working in a laboratory setting
  • Be able to demonstrate relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Energy/Power industry
  • Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (please indicate clearly on resume)
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in Engineering/Technology
