Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Data Analyst will be responsible for formulating management techniques for quality data collection, analysis, and dissemination of analyzed information within the business.
  • To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and monitor operations performance management metrics, policies, and processes
  • Creating and designing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Analyzing and interpreting performance data and reports to identify trends and generate appropriate courses of action
  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Share data insight with business users and management to prioritize business and information needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a numerate field such as Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, etc. with at least 2 years work experience as a Data Analyst.

  • Considerable knowledge of software packages including programming (Python, Business Objects, XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks, etc), databases (SQL etc), and visualization (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Proven experience in the analysis and modeling of large datasets, and cloud-based database development
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.

Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Financials Forecast:

  • Preparation of standard financial reporting package for the group
  • Annual budgeting/forecasting
  • Management of AnP budget in conjunction with the Marketing team
  • Management of incentives budget in conjunction with the Sales team
  • Management of sales team performance review

Commercial Analysis:

  • Conduct regular analysis of penetration levels, retention, and re-order patterns, in key/strategic channels, versus prior year and goals
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analytics and business cases to support brand-related commercial decisions (e.g. price changes, product/range extensions, etc)
  • Tracking of internal and external trends, including summarization of topline insights, in support of general monthly updates and brand performance reviews
  • Oversight of Net Sales & Net Net Sales month-end processes
  • Delivery of high-level insights and commentary on financial and business drivers

Pricing and revenue margin management:

  • Help set, monitor and govern brand pricing strategy with the marketing team

Job Description

  • The role is responsible for managing and improving all Accounts Payable processes and implementing new ideas to ensure robust internal control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring suppliers and expenses are paid in a timely and accurate manor and reviewing and improving processes and procedures
  • Monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations
