Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (Formerly
Anambra State University), Uli, was established in 2000 by the Anambra
State Law No 13, 2000 and it inherited the assets and liabilities of
the defunct Anambra State Polytechnic Uli and the Anambra State College
of Agriculture,
Igbariam.

Job Title: Bursar
Location: Anambra
The Person
- The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University and
he is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day
administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.
- The person for this position must be of impeccable character.
- He/she must be trustworthy, have adequate knowledge of
Accounting with ample experience, integrity, high degree of competence,
drive and dependability.
- The person must not have been convicted by any administrative or judicial panel.
- The candidate should not be more than sixty (60) years at the point of appointment.
Qualification and Experience
- The applicant for this position must possess a good honours
degree in Accountancy or Finance. The candidate must also possess ICAN,
ACCA, lCMA CACA, CIP A and/or ANAN.
- The candidate is expected to have a minimum of eighteen (18)
years post qualification experience most of which must be in bursary
operations in a tertiary educational institution.
- The person must have operated at the level of Deputy Bursar for at least five (5) years.
- A post graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related area will be an added advantage.
- The candidate must be computer literate and conversant with accounting packages.
Conditions of Service
- The appointment shall be a single tenure of five (5) years and
conditions of service applicable in the public service and the
University System for the position of Bursar and as determined by the
Governing Council shall apply.

Job Title: University Librarian
Location: Anambra
The Person
- The University Librarian is the Head and Officer in charge of
the University Library and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor
for the administration of the University Library and coordination of all
Library and E-Library Services in the University and its Campuses,
Colleges, Faculties, Departments and other research Units.
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate for the post of the University Librarian must
possess a Doctorate degree in Library Science from a recognized
University or a Doctorate Degree plus a post graduate Diploma in
Librarianship and Membership of the relevant professional bodies.
- The candidate must, possess at least eighteen (18) years post
qualification experience with adequate publications in reputable
National and international Journals.
- He must possess adequate leadership experience as well as high degree of competence, integrity and dependability.
- The person must be computer literate and be able to use the internet for information gathering and dissemination.
- Candidates must have been a Deputy Librarian for at least five(5) years.
- The candidate must not be more than sixty (60) years at the time of assumption of office.
