  • M.Sc in any of the following field: Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Breeding and Crop Science.
  • 7 - 10 years working experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation of project activities including the development of work plans and management of Activity Teams.
  • Supervision and management of Agronomists. Mentoring and development of field Agronomists.
  • New business activities including but not limited to technical writing and strategy development. Mentoring of Agronomists on new business activities.
  • Contributions to corporate systems and procedures development support of the senior management, and willingness to support the improvement of office as a whole
  • Assuring quality control of project activities, including supporting fielded teams, reviewing work deliverable and providing value-added feedback.
  • Conduct research and development research reports, technical notes and related project activities.
  • Management of project budgets and activity resources.
  • Maintain positive relationships with partners and client.
  Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Kano Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for executing daily Preventive Maintenance and Inspection tasks.
  • Responsible for executing assigned corrective work orders related to the priority of the business.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment in compliance with standard work, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Contributing to improved designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain records of Preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance on production.
  • Ability to schedule and balance priorities; and possess strong adherence to deadlines while in constant communication with area leader
  • Drives Lean activity to ensure department is consistently driving towards being lowest cost provider by eliminating non value added activities
  • Managing spare part stocks and maintains the good level of spare parts
Requirements Qualifications:

  Job Title: Field Agronomist (Female) Location: Eleme Port Harcourt, Rivers Job Description
  • Conduct plant nutrition (Fertilizer and Agronomy) trials/demonstration at Farmer field
  • Extension and Agronomic work- development of package and practice/dosages/time and rate of fertilizer application for commercial crops
  • Selection of farmer for demo plots, conducting meeting/seminar and communication of Agronomic best management practices to farmers
  • Advisory/Training to farmers in meetings/crop shows/ exhibitions and personal visit
  • Local face to lias with university/extension agencies/NGO and Govt officials
  • Developments and communication of Promotional activities programs
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
  • Managing the distribution of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs to farmers while conducting extension activities
  • Arranging the effective distribution of advertisement material to farmers in villages.
  • Maintaining and updating farmer’s databases;
  • Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions in rural market.
  • Conducting farmer’s survey in villages and data analysis.
  • Participating and evaluating marketing campaigns;
  • Monitoring competitor promotional and campaign activity;
  • Supporting the marketing team and other colleagues.
Qualification
