We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Director
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership to the managerial and professional staff of the office.
- Keep abreast of market trends and provide local insights to Headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies & procedures as well as external regulatory bodies.
- Be a key person to oversee and develop both carrier business and enterprise business in assigned countries.
- Formulate objectives and operational policies of the Company for business development and relations, market research, marketing China Mobile’s international communication programs, sale of cloud & data services and international service support.
- Build and strengthen business relations with strategic global carriers and operators.
- Take a significant role to explore new data, voice and mobile wholesales business opportunities with global carriers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for exploring business opportunity and maximizing sales prospect and company’s market penetration focusing on Chinese enterprise, MNCs and local enterprises.
- Conduct sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the attainment of sales goals and profitability.
- Achieve sales target assigned by the Company.
Requirements
- Strong business acumen with proven track record to drive business performance in assigned regions
- Strong leader who is proactive, motivated, flexible, energetic and dedicated
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and willing to work in startup environment
- Sound people management skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Possesses multi-cultural or international experience; able to work seamlessly with global teams in different time zones
- Good command of spoken and written English and local language, fluent in Putonghua or Cantonese is definitely an advantage
- Degree holder in Telecommunication, Engineering or business related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in Telecom industry, in which at least 3 years general management experience and strong background in Telecom wholesales and enterprise business (e.g. Finance, Manufacturing and Logistics industry clients).
- Good understanding of global telecom industry and sound knowledge about the market trends.
- Solid experiences of selling different kind of Telecom products and solutions, e.g. IPLS, MPLS, ICT, VPN, Cloud, Roaming, IDD, Mobile, MVNO, Voice and Data solutions, etc.
- Good personal network with telecom industry and corporate community
