Capricorn Digital Limited (CDL) is a digital solutions and distribution company that supports the growth of agents, merchants, entrepreneurs and/or small and medium sized businesses, while at the same time empowering them economically and financially, through the efficient and effective distribution of digital products and services across Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Location: Lagos Responsibilities
  • Conduct research, surveys, investigation, study market place and territory in order to effectively capitalize on the company’s strengths and competitor’s weaknesses and capabilities
  • Effectively monitor market position within assigned market(s)
  • Know competitor’s top accounts, decision makers, rates, and what it will take to move business
  • Network with prospects to uncover other decision makers for direct referrals.
  • Utilize company database to build new business opportunities for the growth of sales.
  • Write sales proposals and negotiate the close of sales.
  • Manages sales of the company’s products and services
  • Ensure consistent profitable growth in sales through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.
  • Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with dealers and agents that can quickly implement a regional wide distribution network
  • Manage, monitor, train, control and grow a regional distribution network of agents/dealers
  • Achieve a minimum of 70% of productivity goals and 90% of activity goals as established by management.
  • Drive revenue through creative sales techniques
Qualification/Requirements
  • Understanding of distribution dynamics across multiple sectors including payments, lotto, telco, insurance, FMCG. Must have a strong background in electronic payments and mass market related sales.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Strong relationships across many different agent networks
  • Strong public relation, leadership skills, great client and employee relation
  •  Extremely aggressive and self-motivated.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or other related disciplines 4-7 years’ experience in having built together a sales team to push a new product
  • Significant experience building a distribution chain across Lagos (preferably Nigerian)
