Nigerian Foundries Limited (NFL) is the leading ferrous foundry group in sub-sahara (excluding South Africa) with a total installed capacity of 8,500 metric tons per year. It has two plants, one in Ilupeju Lagos State and one at Sango-Otta, Ogun State. NFL started as a small grey iron foundry at Ilupeju in 1969 by the Barberopoulos brothers making municipal castings and water pipeline fittings.   • The HR/administration departments maintain and implement company policies and procedures on and general administration.
Job Description
  • To develop and administer safety and security regulations and safeguard the company, the employee and property from theft, fire and other hazards.
  • To requisition for first aid materials and other in accordance with factory statutory requirements.
  • To ensures smooth operations and administration of the company’s fleet of vehicles
  • To duly acquaint his senior staff colleagues with all matters relevant to labour and the company’s procedure.
  • To ensures that company’s Employment and Administration Policies and Guidelines are implemented in a way to enhance a peaceful industrial atmosphere.
  • Appropriate interpretation of Labour Laws to enhance Management and Labour relationship.
  • To ensure equal dispensation of disciplinary measure across board
  • Implementation of Equitable salaries for available jobs.
  • To ensure all agreement between Management and Labour are honoured
  • Proposing and implementing approved training progarmmes
  • To ensures a clean and safe working environment
  • To ensure follow up and implementation of Management Resolution and Decisions
  • To ensures functional equipment to provide logistics support company wide.
  • Ensure prompt settlement of statutory bills on land, property, equipment and vehicles.
  • Administer Insurance and Immigration Matters.
  • Responsible for Administrative over sight function of stores department.
  • Responsible for the review of departmental QMS document/file twice a year for record update.
  • To ensures the company’s staff booklet (Employee Rules and Regulations) and maintained all necessary record.
  • To carry out Human Resource/Administration functions on recruitment of new staff
  • To refer to the ME100 for approval where clarification or interpretation of Company procedure rules and regulations shall be required or where new matters arising need clearance.
  • To interview, advise and assist employees concerning their personal problem and difficulties and when appropriate and helpful feedback or fallouts to the ME100 for information and possible reappraisal of policy.
  • To register employees with prepare and submit returns to government institutions, Workmen’s compensation. Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund e.t.c as may be applicable.
