We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose of job

  • To safely and effectively manage the Store/ Inventory system to ensure the optimal inventory levels and distribution of spares to fulfil daily production and maintenance needs.

The Job

  • Raise purchase requisitions for catalogued and non-catalogued items, assist buyers in ordering accurate merchandise and supplies, and deliver orders to required departments.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly cycle counts and physical inventory in time assuring KPIs are met, driving inventory integrity.
  • Identify, report and resolve any inventory compliance issue.
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs and perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
  • Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards and training.
  • Maintain inventory, and use Microsoft Dynamics to initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock below the agreed minimum stock level.
  • Update the procurement team on the status of stock to avoid stock-out.
  • Continuous internal communication with the direct line manager and key stakeholders. 

Qualifications

  • B.Sc./HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Science related course.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics usage and Database Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses high inventory control skills and data entry abilities.
  • Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Be numerate and possess analytical skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and result-driven.
