We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Human Resource Officer
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Develop a database for shortlisted candidates
- Arrange recruitment and staffing logistics;
Induction and Integration:
- Develop a checklist for new staff documentation
- Create staff files using the checklist to ensure all documents are present and complete
- Assist in background and reference check
- Maintain an updated employee directory
- Follow up on appraisals and probation reminders
- Introduce new staff to existing staff members personally and via email
- Ensure up-to-date company employee communication;
Leave, Holidays and Absences:
- Draft public holiday schedule for staff
- Maintain an annual leave register
- Performance management and improvement tracking systems;
- Maintain an attendances register for staff and Investigate reasons for absences
General Administration:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR systems and practices
- Ensure up-to-date company employee communication;
- Ensure appropriate security for all HR-related information
- Maintain up-to-date HR filing system;
- Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or Business Administration.
- Any professional certification (CIPMN, CIPD,) would be an added advantage
- Must have completed NYSC.
- Excellent relationship management.
- Proactive problem-solving approach.
- Stress tolerance.
- High level of professionalism.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must have 1- 2 years’ work experience as an HR professional
- Proficient IT and computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets and word processing programs.
- Great attention to details.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
