Job Title: Head of Finance (Telecoms)

Job Description
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor budget performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
- Analyze and manage operational costs to improve profitability.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
- Manage the company’s budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and implement appropriate controls.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
In more specific terms, the role holder shall:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives.

- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.

- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
- Analyze and manage operational costs to improve profitability.

Professional & Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the telecom industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.

Salary
N800,000 / month.
