Job Title: Head of Finance (Telecoms)

Job Description

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives.
Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Monitor budget performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Oversee cash flow management to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
Analyze and manage operational costs to improve profitability.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
Manage the company’s budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Conduct financial risk assessments and implement appropriate controls.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
In more specific terms, the role holder shall:

Professional & Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the telecom industry.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
