Interguide Air Services is a Travel Management Company (TMC) situated in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria. Our services include Ticketing and Reservation, Hotel Reservation/booking, Travel Arrangement - Excursion and Tour packages, Professional Travel Consultancy, Car Rental Services. Travel Insurance, Cruise, Visa Assistance & Procurement, Protocol (After Sales Services).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Head of Business, Wisefares

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop operating policies consistent with the broad policies and objectives and ensure adequate execution. Actively contribute to the growth strategy and wider business plan of the company
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to consistently improve service level and performance
  • Develop and prepare short-term and long-term plans that will ensure the effectiveness of the unit; manage budget, maintain statistics, and meet targets
  • Oversee and ensure all reservations and bookings are performed in compliance with company policies and optimize client service delivery
  • Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to ensure that priorities are clear and coordinated; and ensure high level of cooperation and communication amongst team members
  • Produce comprehensive, timely, accurate and complete reports to the President
  • Set and manage priorities, and organizational projects as needed
  • Proactively identify internal opportunities and challenges and work with the senior management team and other appropriate staff to maximize opportunities and effectively resolve challenges
  • Establish and monitor financial and other operations performance reporting systems; provide comprehensive and timely financial information to the senior management team.
  • Identify and acquire new customers and ensure their profitability is maintained
  • Provide leadership to all staff and maximize team productivity through ongoing reporting, feedback and counselling
  • Leading all marketing activities and measuring performance through developing appropriate marketing metrics
  • Act as a primary liaison between Wisefares.com and clients with relations to every activity, and ensure quality control is maintained as it pertains to brand standard
  • Identify, analyze, and suggest existing/current technology infrastructure that supports the system, growth of the company and specific needs

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees
  • 7+ years’ experience in the travel industry preferably in a large TMC
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the travel industry, with a minimum of 4 years of management experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Sabre GDS and/or other GDS platforms.
