Job Title: Group Executive Director - Finance

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Manage the Group Finances across its 10 Subsidiaries.
  • Leadership and management of the group's finance team and GCFO.
  • Help with Operation and Capital Fundraising both locally and internationally.
  • Manage the cash flow, liquidity and financial visibility of the Holding and Subsidiary companies.
  • Help to facilitate companies’ entry and visibility in the global financial market.
  • Capable of raising finance and developing the company to a global multinational company.
  • Wide Network in the Global Financial Industry.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring realistic revenue projections and expense allocations.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization's financial stability and liquidity.
  • Optimize cash reserves and investments to achieve maximum return.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust risk assessment and management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and financial data.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any financial governance issues.

Investment Management:

  • Manage the organization's investment portfolio, making strategic decisions to maximize returns.
  • Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities in alignment with organizational goals.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Develop and implement professional development plans for finance team members.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the organization in financial matters to the Board, investors, and other stakeholders.

Remuneration
USD3,000 - USD3,500 Monthly.
