Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including planning, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • You will be crucial in shaping our finance operations, ensuring sustainable growth, and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Based on financial analysis and insights, provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior management team.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Develop and implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies and internal controls. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including management accounts and reporting dashboards, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modelling. Provide actionable insights to support decision-making across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; ACA preferred.
  • +4 years of proven experience, preferably within the restaurant or consumer retail industry.
  • Robust financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business results and solving complex financial challenges.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
