Requirements

Senior Lecturer (CONPCASS 6)

  • Candidates should have at least Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 6 years on-the-job cognate experience with proven ability for applied research and production work.
In addition, candidates should have the following:

i.) Demonstrable ability to initial and supervise research project
ii.) Two papers accepted for publication in reputable journals plus two conference seminar papers
iii.) Not less than two meaningful chapter contributions in standard text books
iv.) Any of ii and iii above plus two conference/seminar papers
v.) Evidence of academic and administrative leadership

Lecturer I (CONPCAS 5)
  • Candidates should have a good honours degree from a recognized institution with at least 7 years teaching/research experience or Master’s Degree with at least 5 years teaching/research experience.
In addition, candidates should have the following:

a.) Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise research projects
b.) At least two conference/seminar papers
c.) At least one journal article accepted by publication
d.) Some evidence of administrative and community service

Lecturer II (CONPCAS 3)
  • Candidates should have a good honours degree from a recognized institution with at least 5 years teaching/research experience or Master’s Degree with 3 years teaching/research experience or a doctorate degree in the relevant field.
In addition, candidates should have either of the following:

i.) Two seminar/conference papers
ii.) One journal article accepted for publication

Lecturer III (CONPCAS 2)
  • Candidates should have a good honours degree from a recognized institution with at least 3 years relevant experience or master’s degree plus evidence of NYSC.
Assistant Lecturer (CONPCAS 1)
  • Candidates should have a good honours degree or equivalent in relevant field from a recognized institution plus evidence of NYSC.
Library Department

Library II CONTEDISS 7
  • Candidates should base fist degree in library science or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution with NYSC certificate.
Librarian (CONTEDISS 8)
  • Candidates should have Masters in Library Science (MIS), OR B.L.S with 3 years cognate experience, or equivalent degree plus post-graduate diploma in library studies plus 2 years cognate experience.
