Job Title: Junior Engineer

Location: Mushin, Lagos
Job type: Full-time
Slot: 2 Openings
Seniority Level: Junior Role

Job Description

  • You will be responsible for setting up and calibrates all packaging machine, arranging manpower in specified areas, coordinating with Machine operator and supervisors to achieve specified target given by the production manager with a specified laminate wastage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring proper set up of machines at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order.
  • Proper maintenance and cleaning machines and tools before and after each shift.
  • Calibrate machines at the beginning of each turn.
  • Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running.
  • Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
  • Maintain activity logs and hourly production reports.
  • Perform random tests to ensure accuracy
  • Perform safety checks on every machine
  • Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.
  • Ensure packing materials are ready and available at all times.
  • Monitoring utilities e.g., compressor and nitrogen plant.
  • Maintaining weekly closing stock of all packaging materials.
  • Provide relevant information regarding progress to Shift Managers.

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum educational standard: Trade Test, SSCE, OND, B.Sc. and HND in Engineering either Electrical or Mechanical related .
  • Minimum of One (1) year Upwards in similar roles (Electrical and Mechanical) experience majorly

Job Title: HMC Operator

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Job Description

  • You will be responsible for getting all products to various packing machines in the factory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the product (Cheese balls) gets to all packaging machine in operation.
  • Configuration and installation of frequency inverters (Drive).
  • Routine maintenance of electrical motors, frequency inverters, IFM distance Lasers(sensors), and all other equipment which controls the HMC system.
  • Weekly maintenance and supervision of cleaning of the HMC System.
  • Daily Routine Checklist.
  • Monitor the operation of the HMC to ensure there is limited or no breakdown time.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Job Definition

  • You will be responsible for getting all Welding jobs done within the factory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications and cut material with powered saws to match measurements.
  • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
  • Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
  • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
  • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Qualifications

  • Minimum Educational Standard: Trade Test, FSLC, SSCE, OND.
  • Male Applicant preferred for Gender Balance.
  • Must live within close proximity or ready to relocate.

Experience:

  • Minimum of One (1) year Upwards in similar roles experience majorly in similar industries.
  • Mig Welding: 1 Year (Preferred)
  • Mig: 1 Year (Required)
  • Welding: 1 Year (Required)
  • Fabrication: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Skills:

  • Proven experience as welder
  • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)
  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
  • Deftness and attention to detail
  • Proficient in English
  • Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required

Salary
N50,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
