Job Title:  Customer Service & Inventory Management Personnel
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Customer Service Personnel with strong skills in inventory management, order processing, and auditing kitchen operations to join our restaurant team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, proficiency in Excel, and experience in managing inventory, processing orders, and auditing kitchen practices.
  • This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, inventory integrity, and the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Record daily and weekly financial transactions, including sales reports, expenses, and payments.
  • Coordinate with line manager to place orders and manage deliveries.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Track inventory usage and generate reports on stock levels and turnover rates.

Order Processing:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, or any necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain order records and generate reports on order trends and performance.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and dispatch rider to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Monitor order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Auditing Kitchen Operations:

  • Conduct regular audits of kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and work with kitchen management to implement changes.
  • Maintain detailed records of audit findings and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Monitor food quality, preparation processes, and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Review and audit kitchen staff performance and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Excel Proficiency:

  • Utilize Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets for financial tracking, inventory management, and order processing.
  • Develop and use Excel formulas, pivot tables, and charts to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data entered into Excel spreadsheets.

Additional Tasks:

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management to support the restaurant's overall operations.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Financial Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, stock/store keeping, inventory manager, or similar role in a restaurant or retail environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and procedures.

Salary

  • N100,000 - N150,000 monthly
