established to close the existing gap between farm products and markets.
It is designed to promote market orientation and enhance farmers
profit, generating wealth and accelerating production. The company
facilitates
external trade in the non-oil sector and help in the
resuscitation of ailing local industries through the provision of needed
raw materials. It is expected that within a very short time the impact
of the company would be felt by the farmer, the consuming public and the
nation's economy.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Managing Director
Location: Kano
Reports To: Board of Directors

Job Description
- The Managing Director (MD) is the Chief executive and
Administrative Officer of the company and is responsible to the Board of
Directors for the day-today management the company
- He or she is expected to give positive leadership and direction towards the realization of the objectives of the company
Duties
The specific duties of the Managing Director include the following:
- Leadership and oversight of the New Nigeria Commodity Marketing Company Limited;
- Preparation and Submission of Strategic Plans and Budgets of the company to the Board of Directors
- Successful implementation of the company's approved plans and budgets;
- Monitoring and controlling the financial performance of the company through monthly reviews and reporting;
- Safeguarding and ensuring the integrity of all assets of the company;
- Working closely with the project handling field operations,
- Ensuring efficient supply chain management and effective
coordination of staff, consultants and strategic partners including
local contractors, brokers and buying agents,
- Any other duty that may be assigned by the Board
- Building and maintaining an efficient management team;
- Ensuring prudent management of resources, financial transparent
presentation to the Board of all incomes and expenditure of the company
monthly
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of first Degree in Agricultural Economics, Agriculture
Business Administration or related fields. Possession of a higher
Degree and professional qualification will be added advantage
- Ability to lead, develop and retain high performing individuals
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Experience in Public-Private Partnerships will be an added advantage
- Competence in computer applications.
- Working experience/knowledge of Africa preferably Nigeria and it's Northern States
- Experience in Project implementation and management
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in relation to building
businesses around agricultural commodity marketing and trade, Supply
chain management, financial services for the agricultural sector,
storage and warehousing receipt systems, etc. 5 of this 15 years
relevant experience must be at management level managing teams with
responsibilities for key performance indicators
- Must have strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, and creative problem-solving abilities

Job Description
- The General Manager (Operations) is to oversee the company's procurement and supply chain systems
- He or She is expected to contribute towards the achievement of the company's overall strategic and operational objectives
Duties
In specific terms, the General Manager (Operations) is saddled with the following responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Implementation Manager (PIM) to
oversee the company's procurement and supply chain operations, inventory
management, and warehousing
- Ensure the security and safety of all procured commodities
including ensuring that appropriate insurance covers are in place at all
times,
- In conjunction with key relevant parties, determine and
recommend NNCMC purchase prices of commodities and identify key
procurement markets for the various commodities
- Perform periodic quality control checks and prepare periodic report on quality and conditions of all commodities in stock;
- Identify/segregate warehouses, silos and other storage facilities according to products;
- Oversee the recruitment and appointment of local Buying Agents (LBAs) and State Implementation Managers (SIMS)
- Carry out any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the MD.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Candidates with higher Degrees will have additional advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software;
- Fluency in Hausa Language will be an added advantage
- Working experience/knowledge of West Africa, preferably Nigeria and the Northern region of the country
- Minimum of 12 years cognate experience in relation to commodity
trading and marketing, and building businesses around agricultural
commodity marketing and trade, supply chain model, financial services
for the agric sector, storage and warehousing receipt system;

Job Description
- Responsible for marketing and sales of all commodities of the company both locally and internationally
- Arrange transportation and other logistics for the efficient and cost effective delivery of NNCMC commodities to its customers
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager(Marketing)
- In conjunction with the Project Implementation Managers (PIM),
determine and recommend NNCMC sales prices of commodities and identify
key customers for the various commodities
- Monitor market trends and make appropriate recommendation for commodities to be added or dropped on the company's commodity list
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marketing and be registered with a relevant professional body
- Strong interpersonal a communication skills,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Fluency in Hausa language will be an added advantage

trading and marketing, and building businesses around agricultural

Job Title: Manager (Finance and Admin)

Reports To: General Manager (Finance &Admin)

Job Description
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash
management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control,
salary payroll, and petty cash;
- Liaison with CBN, Commercial Banks and other similar bodies on all financial dealing with the company
- Manage and coordinate the investment of funds of the company so as to maximize returns and minimize risks
- Prepare and submit through the General Manager (F&A), the annual budget of the company for the approval of the Board
- Manage the human resource function of the company including all
processes in connection with staff recruitment, promotion, discipline,
training, performance, appraisals, transfers and movements, scheduling
and job descriptions, etc
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports in
accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and
International Financial Reporting Standards;
- Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare all supporting information and documents for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors as necessary
- Carry out any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager (F&A)
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or
Finance and must have passed the qualifying exams of a Professional
Accountancy body
- He or she must have a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office suite of software
