Job Title: Client Service Officer

Location: Maryland, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Client Service Officer to create and nurture long-term relationships with our clients. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure clients are satisfied with our services.
  • In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them.
  • If you have a background in customer service and knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you.
  • Your goal will be to help us safeguard our revenue and retain our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with a portfolio of clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Create plans to address clients’ business needs
  • Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products
  • Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
  • Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. operations, sales, creative) to address customers’ needs
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Ensure services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Schedule regular meetings with clients to ensure they are satisfied
  • Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of Proven experience as a Client Service Officer/Key Account Manager/Client Relationship Officer
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • A customer-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Background in customer service; industry knowledge is a plus
  • Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction)
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel), with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)

 Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / Month.
