Chief Security Officer Job in Abuja at StreSERT Services Limited, January 13th 2013


StreSERT Services Limited - Our client, a property-management company based in Abuja urgently needs the services of a Chief Security Officer. Candidate must be a retired person from any of the armed forces but relevant experience from the Nigerian Police will be an added advantage.
Candidate must not be below the rank of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) residing currently or willing to move to Abuja.

Qualification
The ideal candidate must be able to speak English and Hausa languages proficiently. Candidates who have managed the security network in a construction company with a very large workforce will be considered.

Key Responsibilites

  • Must be able to guarantee the physical security, safety of employees, and visitors in a large environment
  • Must be able to prevent loss and fraud by maintaining the various security books as well as the items used in conveying of materials into and out of the site
  • Must be able to manage the development and implementation of security policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Development of network access and monitoring systems
  • To develop emergency procedures and incident responses
  • Must be able to conduct audit to find lapses in security platform
  • Must be able to develop risk management assessment
  • Any other assignment as directed by superior officers
  • Must be capable of investigating security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary
  • Maintaining good relationship with local, state, and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies
  • To oversee network of vendors who secure the company assets
  • Must be able to prevent workplace violence
