Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Owerri, Imo

Job Description

  • We urgently require an experienced full-time Business Development Executive to work in our vocational and skill acquisition centre.

Responsibilities
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll need to:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new market, growth, areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Generate leads and call prospective customers.
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
  • Assist marketing team in the development of advertising and promotional programs, telemarketing plans and tradeshows.
  • Have a good understanding of businesses’ products and services and be able to advise others about them.
  • Help to plan sales campaign.
  • Write bids, proposals, and various other business informational letters.
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a similar field
  • 1 - 2 years in a similar job with a credible portfolio
  • Great networking skills
  • Resourceful, with outstanding research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Extensive sales experience
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying and suggesting suitable products or services.
