Ikoyi Nursery School - Our purpose-built, well equipped nursery provides children the perfect space to explore both indoor and outdoors, making their learning experience more enjoyable. Ikoyi Nursery School is an educational institution offering educational services to children ages 2 - 5 years old.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Class Teacher

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the EYFS framework and deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age group that you teach.
• Be responsible for the preparation and development of lesson planning, teaching materials and pastoral care as appropriate.
• Communicate confidently to a range of audiences (verbal, written, using ICT as appropriate).
• Prepare teaching materials for individual and group lessons
• Prepare weekly lesson plans
• Set up classroom displays at least fortnightly
• Oversee and develop appropriate infrastructure and technology
• Ensure a productive learning environment.
• Have a clear understanding of each child’s educational needs.
• Use appropriate range of observation, monitoring and recording strategies as required in the EYFS Framework.
• Give parents oral feedback and prepare detailed termly reports.
• Implement the school curriculum consistent with the UK National Curriculum

Requirements

• Qualified and experienced Teacher with TRCN.
• Strong Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
