As part of our business expansion strategy, we are currently seeking for talented, smart and energetic individuals with strong passion for the ecommerce space to join our Konga Logistics Team in the position below:



Job Title: Business Development Account Executive

Location: Lagos

Reports to: Head of Business Dev., Konga Logistics

Role Summary

  • Responsible for the end-to-end logistics account management of the group, acting as the contact person for all related requests, concerns and resolutions
  • Onboard and manage 3rd party Logistics partners and utilize their assets based on needs.
  • Assist in resolving Logistics issues for the group such as delays, damages, loss of items.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
  • Stay up-to-date with safety regulations
  • Manage all logistics requests - Parcel, Airfreight and Haulage for the group.
  • Keep accurate record and ensure the submission of all transactions to the respective. companies on a weekly and monthly basis and ensure payment is made.
  • Ensure that proof of deliveries is collated and submitted to each of the company upon delivery.

Requirements and Skills

  • B.Sc in any discipline
  • Must be a graduate, female, resides in Lagos and on the mainland
  • Excellent customer relations and organizing skills
  • Ability to multi-task and keep accurate record of business transactions for different clients
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • 1 - 3 years experience as a sales rep, business development executive or account relationship manager in any organization
  • Knowledge of supply chain management
  • Experience in managing customer accounts
  • Familiarity with logistics business operations
