We are seeking qualified candidates for the vacant position below: Job Title: Senior Technical Officer, M & E Location: Edo Contract Type: Full Time Job Description

  • The Senior Technical Officer, M & E will under the supervision of the State Program Manager provide technical support to the implementation of high quality services with primary focus on areas related to monitoring and evaluation of program strategies and approaches related to program implementation.
  • Coordinates the design and implementation of components related to monitoring and evaluation related activities.
  • He /She provides technical support to all aspects of monitoring and evaluation and capacity building relating M&E best practices to field programs.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • MBBS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives.
  • Or BS/BA in statistics, pharmacy, microbiology, monitoring and evaluation or in relevant degree with 7 to 9 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is desirable.
  • Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and 1miliarity with USAID programs preferred.
  • Or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives.
Job Title: M&E/ Reporting Officer Location: Borno Contract Type: Full Time Job Description
  • The M&E/ Reporting Officer Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator and relevant technical leads, is responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the state office.
  • S/He will work with others in the state office and local implementing partners to ensure that state monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and projects M&E needs.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • BS/BA in Statistics, Social Science, Monitoring and Evaluation or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of data management in a security challenging settings.
  • Familiarity with M&E working tools and components is highly desirable
  • Well-developed computer skills.
  • Fluent in English/Hausa language is desirable.
Job Title: Finance and Admin Assistant Location: Ogun Contract Type: Full Time Job Description
  • The Finance and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the provision of accounting, administrative, and logistical support services to the state office
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Experience with administrative and secretarial skills
  • Sound accounting skills
  • Experience with large complex organization is required, familiarity with international NGOs preferred
  • Knowledge of general office practices and administrative procedures.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and organization skills
Job Title: Project Officer Location: Adamawa/Yobe Contract Type: Full Time Slot: 2 Job Description
  • The Project Officer as a member of the Program Management Team, the project officer will supports the Project Coordinator in providing oversight, coordination, monitoring and reporting of the UNHCR IDP Protection project (UIPP) activities in the assigned States/locations.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • BS/BA in Strategic Studies, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 7-9 years of relevant experience with international development programs.
  • Or MS/MA degree in strategic studies, Behavioral sciences or its recognized equivalent with 5-7 years relevant experience with international development programs.
  • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain good relation with the local communities and project beneficiaries
Job Title: Assistant Project Officer Location: Yobe Contract Type: Full Time Job Description
  • The Assistant Project Officer under the supervision of the Project Officer will provide supports in providing coordination, monitoring and reporting of the UNHCR TOP Protection project (UIPP) activities in the assigned states.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • BS/BA in Public Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 5 - 7 years of relevant experience with international development programs.
  • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain good relation with the local communities and project beneficiaries
  • Or MS/MA degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 2 - 3 years relevant experience with international development programs.
Job Title: Project Accountant and Assistant Project Accountant Location: Borno Contract Type: Full Time Job Description
  • The Project Accountant Under the technical leadership of the Project Coordinator, will be responsible for accounting and finance and overall operational administration for the state office and ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of UNHCR with the, objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 5 - 7 years relevantexperience.
  • Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 - 5 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in office management and administration. CPA, ACA, ICAN, orany other relevantprofessional qualification is required.
  • Experience in managing financial records of donor-funded organizations, and femiliariywith donor and local contractual procedures is an advantage Well-developed computer skills
  • Familiarity with Nigerian pubhcsystenis and NGOs is highly desirable
