Chemiron Care Limited - Established in 1987, formerly known as Chemech Laboratories Ltd, the company name later changed to Chemiron International Ltd with manufacturing and distribution of our products from our Ikeja, Lagos factory. In 2019 the company name changed to Chemiron Care Limited, as we relocated our manufacturing operations to Agbara Industrial Estate to a new modern PCN – Compliant facility with our dedicated capsules and liquid filling production lines.

Our internal Quality Assurance team ensures strict adherence to good manufacturing practices throughout the production process. We are constantly expanding our product range across different therapeutic areas to be able to achieve our vision of being Nigeria’s No. 1 healthcare provider by keeping individuals and communities vibrant and healthy with high quality products accessible to all.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Investigating financial transactions and records on a daily basis.
  • Analyzing account activities of various other departments of the organization.
  • Reviewing incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Preparing and updating account payables and receivables.
  • Managing financial records in compliance with tax and accounting laws.
  • Evaluating internal control systems and providing necessary suggestions.
  • Preparing financial reports and presenting them to the higher management.
  • Maintaining and preparing the budget.
  • Working in collaboration withInternal Auditors,External Auditors, and otherAccountants.
  • Making payments to various service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working as an Accounting Officer or a similar position in the Accounting Department.
  • A professional certificate such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools with strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good critical reasoning abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management abilities.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity working with accounting software such as Quickbooks, Peachtree, etc.
  • Outstanding understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment as and when required.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail for accuracy.
  • Must Reside within close proximity to Agbara.
