Careers Information Officer Duties & Responsibilities
The role and function of a Careers Information Officer includes the following duties and responsibilities:

- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness, recognizing the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and challenges faced by clients from different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Assist clients in setting achievable short-term and long-term career goals, and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their career journeys.
- Maintain records of client interactions, progress, and goals to track and evaluate the effectiveness of career guidance services.
- Stay updated with industry trends, labor market information, and educational programs to provide clients with accurate and current career advice.
