Job Responsibilities
Website Maintenance:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's website.
- Regularly monitor and maintain the website's performance, including website speed, security, and accessibility.
- Update website content and ensure it is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure website functionality, user experience, and optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues or bugs.
- Manage website backups and disaster recovery plans.
Content Management:
- Develop and execute content strategies to drive engagement and enhance the website's visibility.
- Create and publish new web pages, blog posts, articles, and multimedia content.
- Optimize content for search engine rankings and improve organic traffic.
- Analyze website data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web content management.
Design and User Experience:
- Collaborate with the web design team to maintain an aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly website.
- Ensure consistent branding and visual elements across the website.
- Conduct A/B testing for design changes and implement improvements based on user feedback.
- Conduct regular usability testing to identify areas for improvement and enhance user experience.
Website Analytics:
- Monitor website analytics using tools like Google Analytics to track website performance.
- Generate reports on website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends, user behavior, and conversion opportunities.
- Implement strategies to improve website performance based on analytics insights.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Web Development, Computer Science, or Digital Marketing.
- Understanding of graphic design and UX/UI principles.
- Experience with project management and ability to manage multiple priority tasks.
- Proven work experience as a website manager, webmaster, or a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of web development, content management systems (CMS), and web analytics tools.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
- Strong understanding of website development, hosting, and domain management.
- Experience with website analytics tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with website optimization techniques, including SEO and CRO.
- Knowledge of website security measures and best practices.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects within deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Up-to-Date Knowledge:
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development, SEO, and user experience.
- Actively explore opportunities to implement new tools, technologies, or strategies to improve website performance.
