About the job

• Front end web development using modern techniques and frameworks — such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive design. Most be efficient with WordPress and React
• Perform web management tasks including, but not limited to: developing and maintaining functionality of the university websites and web page design and layout.
• Serve as a liaison between Marketing and Information Technology Services regarding web development and technologies providing recommendations, insight, and support as needed to integrate front-end assets to backend systems.
• Be an advisor to faculty, staff, and students of web service capabilities, principles, and protocols.
• Conduct research into emerging areas of web technology and development.
• Maintain confidentiality in all information.
• Collaborate on user-centered design strategy as well as translate UX and business requirements into elegantly coded solutions
• Coordinate with the Content Manager to obtain content from the appropriate university office or department; maintain, develop, and implement enhancements to the current web site, and conduct regular site reviews to ensure proper functionality.
