  • These responsibilities involve achieving the following tasks:
  • Developing and revising the company’s organogram, other organizational charts and directories
  • Creating and revising job descriptions
  • Developing, revising and recommending personnel policies and procedures
  • Conducting annual salary surveys and advising on compensation programmes
  • Developing, analyzing and updating company personnel evaluation and performance appraisals
  • Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies
  • Overseeing the recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job adverts
  • Conducting of new employees’ orientations and employee relations counselling
  • Overseeing exit interviews and procedures
  • Maintaining personnel records and department reports
  • Ensure employee welfare and disciplinary process.
  • Manage the employees pensions schemes with the Pension Managers
  • Participating in administrative staff meetings
  • Recommending new policies, approaches and procedures to maximize the value and effectiveness of all employees.
  • Due to expansion in the business driven by the vision to dominate the sector; a Sports marketing, media content development and production company seeks a competent Human Resources Manager.
  • This role has been identified as critical at this stage of company’s evolution and in realizing the business vision.
  • The Human Resource Manager is responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource plans and programmes are realized. Therefore, the essential job responsibilities include:
  • Designing and maintaining an optimal and effective HR organization, systems and processes; including HR goals and objectives
  • Developing and administrating human resources plans and procedure that relate to company personnel
  • Planning, organizing and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
Qualifications & Experience
  • A University degree in the Social Sciences, Business Administration or any of the Behavioural Sciences. A master’s degree with specialization in Human resources and membership of any professional Human resources institute or Association is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant industry experience.
