  • This role will suit a commercially-minded content and communications expert looking to develop their career in management consultancy and professional services. As the Content & Communications Executive, you will assist with creating intellectual and engaging content from our materials, coming up with ideas, and seeing them through to fruition.
  • We are looking for someone with a solid writing background and commercial focus, a creative person with a great eye for detail, and an interest in capacity building.
Key Responsibilities
  • As the company’s brand ambassador, you will own the creation and implementation of all content and PR initiatives for the company.
  • Generating ideas, prioritising, planning, and creating new content to be published on the company’s ICE Hub.
  • Develop blogs, articles and other contents from consultancy work that could be published on the company website, mobile apps, magazine and media.
  • Create sales-led copy for all marketing communication channels, offline and digital.
  • Participate in strategic brain storming and work with Business teams to develop yearly content strategy and send out business proposals to clients and prospects.
  • Creating images, charts and info-graphics that effectively communicate key messages and can be incorporated into presentations.
  • Creating and maintaining product content, and other content for the company’s website.
  • Develop strong relationships with local and industry media to proactively sell news and content.
  • Lead internal communications, educate and maintain brand tone-of-voice across the company.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A strong command of written and spoken English; additional international languages would be an asset.
  • Great communication skills with proven skills in writing and storytelling with a sales focus across print, web, social media, and mass media.
  • Incredibly high attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience of designing templates, layout and multimedia work
  • Strong experience in PowerPoint, Prezi or Keynote, with basic knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator.
  • Experience with video editing, with the ability to create concepts for documentaries and ability to understand requirements around graphic design projects.
  • Solid and relevant first degree, ideally with post graduate qualifications.
  • A network of press and media contacts and evidence of past coverage.
  • Strong understanding of social, political and economic challenges in Nigeria with good knowledge of training and consultancy products available.
  • Background of working with senior stakeholders, with experience in PR, communications and marketing.
