Flannels Supermarket - We have specialized during the last few years in locating and gaining planning consents on urban and suburban sites suitable for shops with filling stations and car wash centers on busy main roads. The Company is unique in its approach. We have a particularly low level of competition and are able to sell a c-store range of products and fuel at full retail price. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Sales Representative Location: Lagos Job Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high levels of product and customer knowledge and participating in training programs as appropriate.
  • Submitting detailed proposals and quotations to customers.
  • Providing regular and accurate sales forecast updates to Senior Managers.
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations.
  • Identifying, contacting and qualifying leads.
  • Monitoring competition and analyzing competitor activity.
  • Attending sales conferences and industry marketing events.
  • Aligning selling prices with company guidelines.
  • Travelling to the homes and offices of potential clients for appointments.
  • Developing customized territory plans.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to maintain good relationships and grow accounts.
  • Generate sales quotes.
  • Understanding of main competition and sales strategies unique to business/customer type.
  • Maintain working knowledge of product lines.
  • Meet prospecting and sales goals.
  • Negotiation of final sale price of product (discounts and additions) within company guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales efforts in CRM software.
  • Identifying and maximizing revenue from existing customer accounts.
Job Requirements
  • A Degree/Diploma in related field.
  • 1-3 years working experience required.
  • Conducting accurate market research.
  • Able to keep up a continuous high rate of cold calling potential customers.
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns.
  • Able to build relationships with customers.
  • Confident and able to take the initiative.
  • Getting feedback from customers.
  • Tactfully handling any complaints.
  • Able to make professional sales presentations & product demonstrations to audiences.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers.
  • Fluent in English Language.
  • High level of passion, enthusiasm and drive for results Charismatic leader who can inspire, motivate and discipline a Sales & Marketing team.
  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums - presentation, telephone, correspondence, face to face etc. in English and preferably a 2nd language.
  • Ability to build a winning team to handle all Sales and Marketing.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn, grow and further develop own career.
  • High level of common sense and high skill of problem solving and decision making.
  • Can easily settle in to any role & take over the management of an existing client base.
