Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Location: Osogbo, Osun
Report to: F&B Manager

Job Summary

  • The Waiter / Waitress will be required to conduct his duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the company policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained.

Job Description

  • Perform daily restaurant / dinning / bar setup.
  • Welcome guests to the restaurant in a pleasant manner and assist them to the tables.
  • Serve meals and drinks to guests according to established rules of etiquette
  • Prepare cocktails as requested by guests
  • Ensure all drink preparation is carried out under strict hygiene.
  • Present menu to diners, suggest dinner courses, appropriate wines, and answer questions regarding food preparation.
  • Ensure proper and effective communication/feedback with kitchen staff and guests to achieve excellent service.
  • Serve at other banqueting functions as may be designated
  • Be pro-active and creative.
  • Strive to work independently and without close supervision.
  • Ensure friendly, reliable, quick and courteous service to all guests.
  • Adhere to grooming policy.
  • Write orders on captain order pad and verify that you have the correct order
  • Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the right meals have been prepared accordingly before serving any order to guests
  • Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
  • Clear dishes and clean-up table immediately after meal has been completed.

  • Carry out other duties as directed by the F/B Manager.

Job Title: Driver

Location: Oshogbo, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Descriptions

  • Obey all traffic and driving regulations like speed limit etc at all times.
  • Keep the vehicle spotless in both exterior and interior appearance.
  • In charge of the maintenance of his vehicles service dues, cleaning, up keeping and running condition. Also keep the assigned car or vehicle clean and ensuring that it is mechanically sound.
  • He / she is responsible to report to the superiors regarding all incidents.
  • Assist with hotels administrative departments with transportation requirements like sales calls etc.
  • Always maintain positive customer relations at all times.
  • Have a good knowledge of the hotel's facilities and services.
  • Able to keep a record of all the incidents while driving, for example, any accidents or tickets.
  • Able to comply with all the traffic/ road rules and regulation of the state while also following the policies of the hotel authorities.
  • Perform any trips and drives with the hotel car/bus as requested.
  • Maintain high grooming and personal hygiene standards.
  • Always wear a proper uniform with name tag nicely polished (if required).
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification of SSCE and 6-10 years work experience with a valid driving license and knowledge of Osun road and its environs and must reside within Osun.

 

 

 

Job Title: Kitchen Steward

Location: Osogbo, Osun
Report to: Executive chef
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Descriptions

  • Maintains supply of clean dishes, glassware, silver, pots etc., for all outlets in the hotel
  • Washes dishes, silverware, and glassware by operating dish machine
  • Cleans and provides pots for all outlets in the hotel
  • Washes pots and pans and returns them to proper place after they are cleaned
  • Scrubs kettles as needed
  • Places bus pans in chef’s line; cleans dirty dishes as needed
  • Keeps chef line well stocked with china and hot plates
  • Keeps glassware organized at all times and stores clean dishes in the proper location
  • Polishes all kitchen wears when needed
  • Picks up all dirty dishes in the employee cafeteria, and returns it to the proper location
  • Assists in the breakdown of banquet functions, and washes dishes from functions
  • Maintains a clean kitchen environment by assisting kitchen staff by following standard cleaning practices
  • Sweeps and mops the entire kitchen and dish room
  • Washes all clearing counters and shelves
  • Washes mats with bleach after each use
  • Assists kitchen staff with set-up and break down of employee cafeteria

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in any related discipline with at least 6 years work experience and must have worked in a similar position as a Security Operative in previous employment.
  • Interested applicant must reside in Osun State.

 

 

 

Job Title: Cook

Location: Osogbo, Osun
Reports to: Executive Chef

Position Summary

  • The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures.
  • Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
  • Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
  • Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift.
  • Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system
  • Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
  • Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
  • Handling multiple food orders at one time
  • Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive
  • Dressing order for presentation
  • Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides
  • Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner
  • Storing all food properly
  • Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
  • Reordering stock and food supplies
  • Monitoring other cooks and team members
  • Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed.

Requirements

  • SSCE / GCE / NECO
  • Working experience within the hospitality sector will be an added advantage.
