Goshen Montessori Schools was established on the 13th of September 2010 on its temporary site, on the 21st of April 2012, it moved to its permanent site. It’s a Montessori based school for the early years (18 months – 5years) where teaching and learning is individualistic. The Primary section begins from Grade 1 – Grade 6. We also have a fully functional secondary school arm. In terms of staffing, we boast of qualified staff with years of teaching experience. All our teachers attend regular training, workshops and seminars to enhance their productivity in their various discipline.

Job Title: English Language Teacher
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring that students learn proper grammar, writing, and reading comprehension.
  • They are responsible for creating lesson plans that will teach students the skills they need.
  • Communicate effectively to students as well asto the parents of students.
  • Ability to give constructive criticism.
  • Answering student questions, grading student tests and essays, tracking student progress, and teaching students the importance of English.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree  / HND with a minimum of 3 years work experience.

 

 

Job Title: Economics Teacher

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements

  • Candidiates should possess Bachelor's Degree or HND with at least 3 years work experience.
  • Ability to share knowledge about finances, business, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and other economic related fields.
  • Prepare lesson plans, lecture, give exams, grade student work and assist students as needed.
  • Qualified candidate must be able to properly communicate to the students as well as to the parents of the students.

 

 

Job Title: School Administrator
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • As a School Administrator, you’ll need to wear many different hats; the planner, the problem-solver, the educator and the counsellor being a few of them.
  • You should have the skills to communicate with various people, handle budgets and logistics, and keep all educational programs running.
  • If you’re up to the task, and you’re also committed to high-quality education, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets, logistics and events or meetings
  • Handle scheduling, record-keeping and reporting
  • Ensure the school complies with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and run educational programs
  • Hire, train and advise staff
  • Counsel students when needed
  • Resolve conflicts and other issues
  • Communicate with parents, regulatory bodies and the public
  • Have a hand in the creation of the school curriculum
  • Implement actions that improve the school and the quality of education (e.g. building renovations, new guidelines for students, new subjects)
  • Help shape and uphold the vision of the school.

Job Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND
  • At least 4 years of work experience.
