Carlcare Development Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings formerly known as TECNO Telecom Limited, established in July 2006, is a high-tech company specializing in the R&D, production, sale and service of mobile communication products. Currently, we have the full ownership of three famous mobile phone brands TECNO, itel and Infinix, and an after-sales service brand Carlcare. As part of our expansion, we are recruiting to fill the position below:   Job Title: Factory Cashier Location: Lagos Job Summary

  • To manage the petty cash inflow and outflow of our mobile phone manufacturing operations as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitates the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
  • Maintains records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation and replenishment
  • Processes expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances
  • Creates and maintains records of cash requests and disbursements
  • Reconciles all received cash, which have been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses
  • Processes payment for accounts and issuing receipts
  • Keeps records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checking the cash balance against this record
  • Collects money from bank for safe keeping before reimbursements
  • Files all documents concerning cash payment and collection
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role
  • Not more than 30 years of age by December 2019
  • Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or any relevant field.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Accounting and tax return preparation experience required
  • Must have AP/AR/Collections experience
  • Knowledge of SAP or any accounting ERP System is an added advantage.
Competences and Attributes:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task, set priorities and work on multiple requests with minimal supervision
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.

  • We require a Manufacturing Accountant for our Mobile Phone Manufacturing Factory here in Nigeria.
  • This position is responsible for supervising accounting and finance functions for our mobile phone manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
  • Handle the analysis of manufacturing variances and preparing manufacturing reports for management.
  • Under limited supervision, plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise staff engaged in various financial activities and resolve financial system issues.
  • Report on changes in accounts and variances from budget, prepare financial forecasts.
  • Responsibility to work with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
  • Responsible for the accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Responsible for ensuring balance sheet and income statement accounting and reconciliation is maintained in a detailed and accurate manner.
  • Review department cost summaries and discuss variances to budget with department managers.
  • Controls, analyzes and approves manufacturing standard changes providing and reporting cost and profit impact to management.
  • Perform cost analysis and recommend process improvements for cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Provides technical guidance and expertise to subordinates in the day-to-day management of accounting activities.
  • Implement best practice, SAP support and change control processes.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in an Accounting or Financial supervisory role in a manufacturing/production environment, with proven experience in Inventory/Cost/E&O analysis
  • Not more than 35 years of age by December 2019
  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or any relevant field.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Accounting and tax return preparation experience required
  • Must be a hands-on Accounting Supervisor
  • Must have AP/AR/Collections experience
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP or any accounting ERP System.
Competences and Attributes:
  • Must Have Advanced MS Office Excel knowledge such as the use of “if-functions”, “pivot tables” and “v-look up”.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task, set priorities and work on multiple requests with minimal supervision
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
