Job Title: Turnaround Construction / Commissioning I & C Engineer

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Contract

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The commissioning engineer commissions and oversees the installation of equipment, systems, and facilities to make sure that they function correctly and deliver the expected results.
  • Interpretation of design, materials, corrosion and welding codes and specifications.
  • Asset integrity assessment testing and commissioning.
  • The process control engineer oversees the overall maintenance processes, His responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and making repairs to process control systems.
  • The control engineer's job is to make sure the systems are running efficiently.
  • The I&C construction and commissioning Engineer will define the project to the extent required & control the assignment of tasks to responsible persons, either directly under his control or attached to supporting organizations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • The Turnaround process controls Engineer shall have as a minimum, a second Class upper Bachelor’s Degree or similar educational qualification in electrical/instrumentation engineering, and be a chartered engineer, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in project planning and supervision of engineering design and construction associated with oil/gas production and processing facilities.
