Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations in Port Harcourt and its surrounding areas.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing client relationships, and expanding the company’s customer base within the territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and enrollee acquisition targets in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, SMEs, and individual subscribers.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client inquiries and complaints to maintain excellent service delivery.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote IHMS services.
  • Train and mentor sales team members within the territory, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the Regional Sales Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare, HMO, or insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Familiarity with the South-South and South East market and its dynamics is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare services and HMO operations is an advantage.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 per month.
