Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth and expand market opportunities.
  • This role involves identifying and pursuing new business prospects, building strong client relationships, and leading sales and bidding processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our products and services, conduct market research, and develop strategic business plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research.
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of tenders while engaging with industry regulators.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize business development efforts.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and market trends.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and bids.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, from a recognized university
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar capacity for a similar organization, demonstrating a track record of acquiring new businesses and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Results-driven professionals with a passion for business growth
  • Technical sales in the upstream sub sector of the oil and gas industry.
  • Good working knowledge of the Nigerian Oil Industry (Upstream Sector)
  • Proven clients’ account management experience in the upstream sector.
