Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Location: Abakaliki, Ebonyi

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, identifying new opportunities, and managing customer relationships within an assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Target Achievement: Meetand exceed sales targets for the territory through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for company expansion.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, and forecasts. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Product Education: Educate customers on the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of our products/services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Act as the main point of contact for clients within the territory.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to keep the company updated with industry trends.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, customer service, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
  • Travel: Travel within the territory to meet prospects and customers. Occasional travel outside of the territory may be required for training and meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally as a sales representative for up to 3 years in the same territory, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Must not be more than 35 years.
  • Ability to drive results through a strategic approach to territory management and sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
