Technical Support Engineer at Balosh Integrated Services Limited


Balosh Integrated Services Limited, an Access Control & Automation company is looking to hire a skilled technical support engineer that can provide technical support services to our clients. A technical support engineer who has in-depth knowledge in access control and automation products, high-level communication skills and ability to work independently. Ultimately, a technical support engineer that can provide valuable technical assistance and support while maintaining strong customer relations.

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Installations of new equipment for clients.
  • Maintaining and servicing existing equipment installed at car park sites.
  • Maintaining and servicing access controls installed on clients’ sites.
  • Researching and self-learning on new technologies.
  • Resolving network issues, configuring operating systems using remote connection to provide immediate support to clients after getting approval from management.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to management and clients.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks at one time.
  • Document all technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals for future purposes.
  • Reporting all outstanding jobs left daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Documenting installations, maintaining and servicing processes.
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve any system issues onsite and offsite.
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation/updating resolved and unresolved issues via communicating platforms provided.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
  • Filing and documentation of signed job completion forms by clients with the office/admin personnel in charge.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a technical support engineer or installation manager.
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware, networking and software issues, answering inquiries and documenting results.
  • Excellent soft skills like communication, flexibility, patience, and problem solving.
  • Critical thinker.
  • OND / HND qualification in Electronics and Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Providing simple and effective solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, networking and software issues.
  • Prioritizing and managing the workflow to resolution.
  • Proven customer service experience as a technical support engineer.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
