Job Title: Talent Acquisition Officer

Location: Ibese, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Assist in all aspect of recruitment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing preliminary categorization of unsolicited CVs according to best fit and provide recommendations to Recruitment Coordinator.
  • Assist in the review and screening process of candidates’ CVs according to job requirements.
  • Assist in scheduling assessment tests and/ or interviews and ensure timely communication to candidates and interviewers.
  • Assist in compiling database and ensuring all recruitment documentations are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist to (raise requisitions, provide justifications, obtained approval, track and report) budgeted expenses for the department’s activities.
  • Assist in provision of all the necessary working tools for the new hire (including table, chairs, stationaries etc).
  • Liaise with other departments or external parties to organize resources for tests and interviews (e.g. venues, equipment stationery, etc.).
  • Assist to document outcome of candidate interview sessions.
  • Assist in conducting reference checks on candidates at the defined stage within the recruitment/ employment process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Recruitment Officer.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees or equivalent in Humanities or Social Science related discipline with 0 - 3 years relevant work experience.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
  • Basic understanding of employee/industrial relations.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • Good business writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good understanding of job requirements, including competencies for various functions within DCP.
  • A good understanding of the job requirements of the function/ department.
  • Good interviewing and listening skills.
