Supply Chain Officer at Kellogg's Tolaram Nigeria Limited (KTNL)

Kellogg Tolaram Nigeria Limited (KTNL) is a Joint Venture between Kellogg Company USA and Tolaram Group of Singapore. KTNL was incorporated on 20 August 2015 to develop the cereal and snack business in Nigeria and other West African countries. KTNL started the import of Kellogg brand cereals and snacks from the UK and Belgium in Europe in 2016. In April 2016, the JV board approved the set up of a cereal plant in the Lagos Free Trade Zone. The plant is ready and commercial production started in January 2018. Manufacturing in Nigeria with the help of locally available raw materials will help generate revenues for the local farmers and traders, become self-sufficient, boost the economy as well and generate employment for the local talent. It will also encourage foreign investments in the country. Along with the Cereals, KTNL launched an extruded snack product in July 2018 under the brand Munch IT.

Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Roles and Responsibilities
Logistics

• Responsible for and accountable for, the delivery of all supply chain related activities.
• Proactively coordinate and direct the management and tracking of all supplies, equipment, material in transit, through its receipt, storage, and onward distribution.
• Maintain accurate filing systems, with documented and supported records of action for audit purposes and submit monthly reports.
• Ensure that all procurements are tracked and recorded to identify items that should be part of a pre-approved tender process and ensure open and free competition process for all procurements.

Imports:

• Assist in getting out clearances.
• Following up on customs and taxes exemption.
• Keep the company informed of developments in Nigeria’s customs and import/export regulations.
