We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Store & Logistics Officer

Location: Kogi

Responsibilities

  • To handle all plant related store keeping and Logistics activities.
  • To Liaise with the PCM and logistic team on spare parts ordering, shipments, and accurate deliveries at site to meet maintenance schedule requirements.
  • Maintain logistics data to relevant systems to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules.)
  • Keep the store or warehouse area in clean-cut condition according to guidelines to ensure work safety and ergonomics (5S practice). - Coach and develop other colleagues in daily work.
  • Keep adequate inventory and records of all tools on site.
  • Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods, purchase orders and invoices.
  • Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
  • Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics process.
  • Pack, label and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
  • Ensure all tools are properly maintained and kept in best condition for immediate use.
  • Ensure proper tools calibration and maintain adequate records of same within agreed frequencies.
  • Perform other routine office activities according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
  • To plan and schedule logistic movements for the plant as directed by the Plant Manager
  • To actively participate in the Continuous Improvement Process (developing quality, delivery, safety, and methods).

 Requirements for the position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of similar experience preferably in Power Plant.
  • Proficient MS Office knowledge.
