Position: Production Supervisor – SA022

Reports to: Production Superintendent
Key Roles
The ideal candidate will provide necessary supervision to the operators, technicians and production crew. This is to ensure the right process conditions are put in place to achieve the desired products specifications within a very safe environment.
Accountabilities:

  • Supervise the production Operators and Technicians.
  • Compile and analyze production report including data to give information on well performance and production.
  • Ensure that production operations are carried out in a safe manner.
  • Carry out safe plant shutdown and start-up.
  • Assign personnel to production units or utilities.
  • Report changes in the production trend or abnormal pro­cess conditions.
  • Take decisions regarding unit or plant shutdown in critical situations.
  • Ensure strict compliance of personnel towards safety rules and standards.
  • Ensure production operations meet acceptable standards and design parameters.
  • Schedule maintenance for process equipment.
  • Perform routine facility inspections.
Person’s Profile:
  • Minimum of a 2nd Class Upper University degree in Pro­cess/ Mechanical/ Petroleum/ Chemical Engineering.
  • Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Ability to speak English would be an advantage.
  • Good leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Conversant with the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Approximately 8 to 12 years working experience.
  • Membership of SPE, NSE, COREN etc.
  • Good organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Position: Maintenance Supervisor – SA023
Reports to: Production Superintendent
Key Roles:
To provide supervision for all technicians and fitters on the facili­ty and ensure timely maintenance of all equipment and utilities. To ensure all equipment are functional and maintenance is sched­uled without disrupting production.
Accountabilities:
  • Plan preventive maintenance, ensuring preventive and cor­rective maintenance activities are carried out on all equip­ment and utilities.
  • Document equipment maintenance history.
  • Identify potential hazards of equipment maintenance activ­ities and liaise with the HSSE Officer to recommend preven­tive measures.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
  • Assist the Production Superintendent in ensuring that re­ports on equipment integrity are timely.
  • Supervise routine maintenance on utility equipment and lines.
  • Routine inspection of equipment.
  • Ensure timely requisition and aggressive follow-up on equip­ment spare parts.
  • Delegate work to technicians and monitor their progress.
  • Plan annual Maintenance of the production plant and liaise with the equipment manufacturers for technical and mainte­nance support.

Person’s Profile:
  • Minimum of a 2nd Class Upper University degree in Me­chanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Approximately 7 to 10 years working experience.
  • Ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings.
  • Ability to supervise maintenance contracts.
  • Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Ability to speak English would be an advantage.
  • Conversant with the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Membership of NSE, COREN etc.
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to identify hazards in the process of job execution.
